Sydney, starting as overwhelming favorites were nothing short of impressive from what was seen by myself.
Sydney didn't stutter but nor did they trouble Adelaide much. Despite having the lesser of possession, Adelaide seemed to be more dangerous on the attack. In short, it was a a game where both sides were evenly matched, fast and swift movements all around the pitch but without the final touch or pass. An Under game (Betting Terms on Total Goals {2 3/4 And 3.00}) instead of anything high scoring should suffice nicely.
Sydney, having won the last 4 games very convincingly would have been expected to be more lethal in the final third of the field; though, the ordinary looking Adelaide Team just gives me the feeling that they'll nick a point at least, against all odds, and saying that Adelaide will take all 3 points is not far-fetched though. A Draw would be more realistic as expecting a Sydney side on a roll losing on home soil may not be very wise at the betting center.
Historically, Sydney's 1st defeat before they started their recent unbeaten streak...ironically, was a 2-1 defeat to Adelaide United.
Though Adelaide have been nothing short of poor recently, results-wise as well, but one should recall the many times when Adelaide won against all odds and by playing very ordinarily as well.
